Pagerank is about whether you are in Google’s main index, or not in. It’s as simple as that from my observations. A high PR won’t rank about a low PR page just on PR. The only good thing about a lot of Google Pagerank, is you can get a lot more pages into Google – that’s it. It does not improve rank – it only allows a page to rank, and MORE pages to rank.

I am sure everyone who is reading this page must be aware about PageRank (PR) and its importance. Google PageRank adds value to website Search Engine Ranking (SERP). There are many other factors too like back links, website age, popularity and more which is important for SERP.

Pagerank have a range from 0-10. A site with PR 0 is least important and the site with PageRank- 10 is the most important

in the eye of Google.

The Toolbar Pagerank, Google Directory Pagerank, and Backlink exports don’t cause a change in search engine rankings. Any ranking changes during the export of the values of these three items is due to on going everflux changes – unless there is an algorithm update happening at the same time.
